OKay so first things first. Headmaster Gwynfor Herald and Wyn the clown are the same person. He doesn’t actually want to be a clown, but its a job necessity. He’s thin, and really tall and is always wearing his glasses even in the clown for, they’re just invisible.
Wyn the Clown-
Brightly colored blue wig and red hat. White face makeup but his skin is super pale so it blends pretty nicely into his neck. He doesn’t carry around any traditional clown items but stands slightly hunched over in the background, always, silently. He won’t talk in clown makeup.
Headmaster Gwynfor Herald-
Only wear monochrome clothing. He actually hates color. Long black hair pulled back in one of those nice traditional elf hairstyles. Professional clothing that he hates getting dirty. Still has a spellbook and component pouch but stands incredible straight and tall. Looks down his nose at everyone.
Ah yes the bastard elf with a stick up their ass. Gwynfor is incredible intelligent, cunning and sharp with his words. He is old. He has been through. A. Lot. He is not afraid to stab first and not apologize later. You’d think you’d be able to make fun of him for being a clown but he has put so much fear and Respect into the party they can’t do it. He hates explaining himself twice or wasting words on people who are being difficult for the sake of it.
Gwynfor may be cruel and harsh but he is at his core an incredibly good person. He fights back ruthlessly and judges harshly. He is willing to sacrifice his pride to hide away as a clown to still do the most good even when him being recognized would certainly end his life.
Wyn the clown is silent. He doesn’t speak, but he Listens. He doesn’t preform in the Rockfort circus but takes tickets and makes lunch every day so these misfits at least get one good meal.
